Dear Grace Christian Church Family,
It is with bittersweet emotion that I announce to our church family the passing of Michael Battle. Michael left this earth for his heavenly reward on Wednesday, January 8, 2020. It has been my honor to be his pastor for over 21 years. I will miss him. His wife Jackie serves on the worship team and daughter Jasmine Battle has served in media ministry, starting as the youngest person to be responsible for PowerPoint media.
As Christians we know Heaven is Real and Michael is more alive than ever! We take comfort from the Holy Spirit. As believers we don’t grieve as do the lost, who have no hope. We know exactly where Michael is. Please join Debbie and me as we surround Jackie and Jasmine with our faith and love. Your Prayers are appreciated during this difficult time.
The family will celebrate Michael’s life on Monday January 13 at 11:00am at Cremation Society of South Carolina – Westville Funerals’ Chapel. All are welcome.
